Concrete is produced to AS1379-2007. Concrete production is fully automated, utilising graphical presentations, auto alarm systems and fully traceable production records to ensure a quality product. Programmes used are capable of handling up to 100 recipe mixes.
Circumferential wire is fed to the MBK Cage Machine from a single wire supply. The circumferential wire is automatically resistance welded to the longitudinal rods as it is fed into the machine to form the cage. The barrel, socket, and spigot diameters can be individually controlled. Steel is in compliance with AS/NZS 4671:2001 Steel Reinforcing Materials.
The highest possible level of accuracy is achieved within a minimum mixing cycle time by means of a patented technique for reading the microwave sensor in the mixer. The graphic display provides a wide range of information including a trace of the sensor signal and error analysis in graphical form. Concrete moisture content is typically controlled to an accuracy of ±0.2%.
The wire cage is fully welded at each wire intersection, and the spigot, barrel and socket are produced from one continuous circumferential wire. This avoids traditional weaknesses at the barrel / socket joint and produces a cage that is a single structural element.
